Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement group-wide QHS strategies aligned with business objectives;
- Lead quality improvement initiatives throughout the product lifecycle;
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards, managing internal and external audits;
- Drive proactive quality planning and Lean methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs;
- Manage risks by identifying and mitigating quality and safety challenges;
- Engage with stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, to exceed quality expectations;
- Regular business travel (60-90 days per year).
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field;
- At least 7 years of experience in Quality Management within international manufacturing, preferably in machine building or similar industries;
- Expertise in Lean Six Sigma, APQP/PPAP tools, and continuous improvement methodologies;
- Proven experience fostering a quality-focused culture in diverse, international teams;
- Certification in ISO 9001 (preferred);
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and critical-thinking skills;
- Visionary thinking with a passion for continuous improvement;
- Fluency in English (written and oral), Latvian language skills are required.
